I hope to make this year amazing! We have 2 trips this year. Florida to visit a friend in march, then to Arizona to visit my daughter and family in October.

Our new bed was delivered a couple of days ago, but my husband has work to do in the bedroom before we can put it up. We got the split king with adjustable bases. We will each have a controller so we can move our bed separately. He can lay flat, while I’m inclined and so on. I ordered a new comforter and 3 sets of sheets. Those came yesterday.

Do you have resolutions this year? I don’t, generally, make resolutions……like I said, I just want to make this year amazing.

Right now I’m in a lot of pain. It’s my right knee. The first diagnosis was just arthritis. Then I went in yesterday to see my primary and she said I also have a sprained ligament. I have to go to physical therapy for a month. She also gave me some pain pills and they don’t even take the edge off. Ugh!

My new huge crystal necklace has shipped. I’m so excited to get it. I’m going to wear it every day in Florida. I hope it’s a powerful one. I believe in crystals having power…..to heal, to keep negative energy away, and other things. It’s a clear quartz.

What a great Christmas! How was yours? We stayed home and it was just myself, my husband and my son. We enjoyed our gifts, ate king crab for dinner. King crab for Christmas used to be a tradition at my parents house. I lost my mom 7 years ago, and my dad 3 years ago. I hope they were smiling down on us today. I miss them terribly.
A friend and I are hitting the sales tomorrow! For next years stuff. Next year I’m doing my white tree in full on pink! So, I’ll buy all the pink stuff I can find! lol….this year I did blue ocean theme, it’s very pretty.

Today is December 2nd. Only 23 more days until Christmas. We already have our tree up. It’s a 6 ft, white tree with only blue lights. It has fish, shells, seahorses, starfish, octopuses, sand dollars and then blue ball ornaments, some blue snowflakes too. I love it! I’m done with my shopping. Everyone got spoiled this year. I love to spoil people, it makes me happy. But….presents aren’t the focus…the focus is spending quality time with family and friends. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love doing the tree. I already know what I’m going to do next year! My white tree and all out pink! Pink is my favorite color. I’ve never had an all pink tree before. Last year I did a candy theme, it was pretty sweet, lol pun intended. I still need to send out my cards and some packages. I’m busy tomorrow and Thursday, so Friday I will go do that. My husband may need to help me since I have quite a few packages and they are all different sizes. One gift has to be taken to UPS because I can’t find a box for it and I’m sure they have every kind of box you can think of. What’s your favorite thing about Christmas?

It was a great day! We went to some friends house for the day. The food was absolutely delicious. I visited mostly with my friend while everyone else was downstairs watching football. It was great because I haven’t seen her in a long while. Then, we left there and went to my aunts house for a couple hours. It was a busy but wonderful day! I am very thankful for every part of my life and I will continue to do so. I hope you all had a great day too!

I will be officiating a wedding on the 29th of this month. One of my best friends, whom I’ve been friends with for 31 years, is getting married. I’m so excited for him. I still can’t believe they asked ME to marry them. I’m honored. I am quite nervous, however. I’ve never done this before. I have a book that I will read from because I can’t memorize all that by then. Plus they are writing their own vows and each of them will be singing 2 songs to each other. The men will be in blue and black, the bride will be in pink and the girls and I will wear black with some pink. It’s going to be nice…..wish me luck!

And, this poem was an experience I had…..

Our vacation to Florida is all booked now……we are staying with friends for most of the time, but are going to the beach for 3 nights at an oceanfront hotel. Now we are really excited! I hope to find some cute stuff to bring back for friends. We will be going to a huge flea market, possibly a spring, and lots of fishing….im so excited to see my friend! I haven’t seen her in over 30 years! We will be gone for 11 days….perfect amount of time. I can’t wait! Have you been to Florida? What do you think of it?

Do you believe in astrology? I can’t deny the similarities in ourselves. I am a Cancer, moon in Aries and Aquarius rising. Just the general descriptions of astrological signs may leave you confused and saying, that’s not me at all. That’s why you need to check your entire natal chart, which you can do for free online. Cancers are supposed to be homebodies. I am not. That’s prolly my moon in Aries. We are also supposed to be frugal….i am not…..So, when your reading your daily horoscope, it might not jive due to the location of all the planets, your moon sign and your rising sign. I recommend the book “LOVE SIGNS” by Linda Goodman if your interested in seeing how each sign gets along with each other. I have never found a more comprehensive book about astrology and love. It’s really good. Of course, the book doesn’t take your other planets into consideration, it’s based on just your sun sign. But it’s really really good. I have old copies which are split into two large books. I got them on eBay…..so, do you believe?

Mom passed away in April of 2018. Today is her birthday. My aunt is coming to pick me up in 2 hours. We are going to Olive Garden for lunch, then to JC Pennys for bare minerals and then to hobby lobby. It’s going to be wonderful. I had a friend who used to come over every year on moms birthday, but she passed away a couple years ago. It’s always nice to do something on moms birthday. Always let the people you love, know it. Tell them often and spend as much time as you can with them….you never know when they won’t be here anymore. I miss my mom a lot.

This Friday I will be making travel arrangements for our vacation to Florida. We will be going in March. I have a Bestie who lives there that we are going to go visit. We will get a hotel and a car. We will spend 4 nights there, then drive to the beach and stay 3 nights there, then back again for another 3 nights and then home. I’m excited to see my friend. I haven’t seen her in over 30 years! And to the beach, hopefully, will be warm enough to play in the ocean and get a good tan. I have to be careful of the sun though. I’m a bit allergic. When we went to Hawaii, I broke out in little blisters all over my arms and got really burnt. So, when I’m not in the water, I need a hat and a cover up……we have never been to Florida before, so I’m looking forward to the experience. We will be doing lots of fishing. My friend has 3 boats. A paddle boat, a motor boat and a pontoon boat…..I wonder if we will see any gators. That would be a sight to see, right? If you’ve been to Florida, do tell me what you did and how you liked it.
