One with one friend on Christmas and then with our two married friends on a different day. What made me happy this year, is the company mostly. The food was decent and I enjoyed some NFL.

Been busy cleaning house, wrapping presents, and finalizing the menu for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I got all my Christmas cards mailed two days ago. I also mailed off several packages. The tree looks great! I bought those pine smelling sticks that you hang on your fake tree…they smell great. On Christmas Eve, I’m wearing pink and white. I have a pink and white Santa hat too. Christmas Day, I’m going old school with red, green and gold.

My craft room is done except wall and ceiling hangings……the loft (my craftroom) is in the shop. It’s cold in there until Don gets a fire going…..I have been taught over and over to light a fire and keep it going. I cannot seem to do either one….lol. So, I have to wait until he gets up. I’m a very early riser and, sometimes, it’s hard to wait for 5 or 6 hours until he gets up. I was up at 2:30 this morning…..have a fabulous day!
The new craftroom is all set up except wall hangings….it went so fast!
A friend came over today and we packed and packed. Then we painted all my cabinets. It was a long and busy day. I still have to go and open all the boxes, organize and such. It will take a couple weeks, prolly….set up tables too. My craftroom was in the house taking up an entire bedroom. We need the space, so my craft room is now in the loft of our shop….husband got the wood stove up and running last week, so it’s been nice to work in there. I’m calling it a night for now…lots more to do tomorrow….goodnight loves.
We are busy both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Each day with different friends. I started my shopping months ago. I find it’s easier on my bank account when I have several pay periods to buy. Oh, and, anyone who knows me, will tell you that I like to plan. I want to know days, times, how long, etc….anxiety? Prolly….lol. I will send the grandkids their stuff after Christmas. I like it when they open ours separate. I’ve been so busy. Are you ready for Christmas? I asked Santa for a video frame….what did you ask for?
I worked my tail off for the last 2 days getting my Christmas cards made. I made 40. I made one design in different colors. Shown below…..

I drove to the ceramic shop all in a worry that it didn’t turn out. Once I got inside, she got it for me. I asked her how it looked but she wasnt the one who wrapped it….i waited until i got home to open it. I opened it very carefully, and, inspected it. It turned out great! I am so happy! It’s already wrapped and under the tree. I’m sure my friend will like it.
